Last day in Barcelona!

It's sad - it's not only our last day in Barcelona, but our last day in Europe.
Taking a back seat in writing this post are Jason Hunter and Chris Jones....

Considering it is our last day, we tried to pack in as much Barcelona sun as we could, which means we started our travels on the Barcelona beach. Some (read all) even braved the Mediterranean waters - but only up to their ankles. C & J - It was not up to our ankles! There was the odd wave!

After the beach we headed up the mountain (C & J - it was more of a hill, really...)  and went in to explore the old World Fair building which has recently turned into a museum of Catalan art and artists. ( C & J  - the glass elevator, it was all about the glass elevator)

Followed closely by a jaunt at the Olympic stadium ( J - I swear I could have out run the security guards. All I wanted was a lap around. Really!)

There's still more...

We continued around the mountain ( C & J - It was a hill!)  To a museum dedicated to the works of Mori (C & J - We don't get surrealism...)

Back down the hill we had a tour of the Barcelona Harbour on a catamaran, and were then given some free time to buy last minute souvenirs.

Tonight is Flamenco dinner and dancing and packing before we take the long and unwanted journey home. ( C & J - We're not going to sleep... there's no point)

See you back in Canada!
