Hello everyone!
First off, my sincerest apologies for the delay in getting a new post up on this site - it's not for lack of trying! As some of you may have heard, the Internet availability here has been limited, and that coupled with my own technological set backs have hindered my ability to post.
With that being said, everyone is having a remarkable time living the Parisian life style and are doing it up in a big way. Braving the rainy weather and all!
Taking in the sights of the art and artists has been a inspiring. Don't be surprised if you don't recognize the beret wearing, snail and duck eating, French speaking bohemians you meet at the airport!
Tomorrow is our last day in Paris, saying goodbye with tours of the catacombs and finishing off with a royal flair and a tour of the palace of Versailles.
From there we head to the train station for our overnight train to Barcelona - where I hope to have a better connection and much more updates. On that note, I am still working on getting pictures posted as well.
From all of us in Paris, we bid you adiux and Bon nuit
Is the snowstorm impeding the travel today?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update! Looking forward to hearing they got to Barcelona okay. Let's hope the weather gets better quickly!
ReplyDeleteYes, the weather did impede our travel. Our train to Barcelona was cancelled. More on this in the upcoming post.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we have all arrived now safely in Barcelona and were even able to complete all of today's programed activities. The only thing the students had to miss out on today was some scheduled free time.
The weather today in Barcelona was just as rainy, and only slightly warmer, but the rest of the week is looking promising.
